💤👶 How Does Sleep with Your Baby Affect Your Mental Health?

Have you shared a bed with your baby—or chosen not to? We want to hear your experience.
You’re invited to take part in a short, anonymous study exploring how parent-infant sleeping arrangements—like bed-sharing—might impact post-natal mental health. Research shows that around 1 in 5 new mothers experience mental health difficulties after giving birth, but we still don’t fully understand how sleep habits may play a role.
This study aims to uncover whether sleep routines could be protective or risk factors for mental wellbeing during the post-natal period.
✅ You can take part if:
-
You are 18 years or older
-
You have a baby under 1 year old
❌ Please don’t take part if:
-
You are under 18
-
Your baby is over 12 months
-
Your child was born prematurely and has specialist sleep advice
The study takes 10–15 minutes and involves a short questionnaire about your sleep practices and mental health. It’s fully anonymous, and all data is securely stored.
By taking part, you’ll contribute to important research that could support the wellbeing of new parents in the future.
