Power Up Your Brain: Does Protein Improve Mental Performance?

pop quiz.jpg

Ever wondered if what you eat could impact how well you think? We’re inviting you to take part in a short study exploring whether high-protein diets affect how people perform on maths and general knowledge questions.

This study is being conducted by a Psychology student at Northumbria University, and your participation could help uncover whether diet plays a real role in mental sharpness.

The study is completely anonymous, takes about 20 minutes, and involves:

  • A few questions about your background and eating habits

  • A short general knowledge and maths quiz

  • A final questionnaire about your diet and thinking patterns

✅ You can take part if:

  • You’re 18 or older

  • Not currently taking medication for stress-related disorders (e.g., PTSD, adjustment disorder)

  • Have internet access and either headphones or a quiet place

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to growing research on nutrition and brain performance. Your input is important—and might even get you thinking differently about your own diet!
